Austin continues to veer further and further to the radical left. They've now proposed a budget that would pay for out-of-state abortions. This is another classic example of liberals wasting money on radical proposals.
Brandon Walton with the Texas Scorecard told KTRH, "Property taxpayers in Austin should be furious that the city is going through with this; this is perhaps one of the most horrific uses of tax dollars I've ever seen."
Walton said that thankfully, the state should be able to put a stop to it. He added, "I would imagine that you might see something from the attorney general, and you might see something from the state legislature to strengthen laws against this." One lawsuit has already been filed against the city regarding the proposal.
Walton also noted that this serves as a concerning warning of what liberals want every big city across the state to look like in the future.
