Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has officially endorsed Donald Trump for President.
Kennedy says he will remove his name from 10 states where he might play a spoiler in the race between Trump and Kamala Harris. Effectively, Kennedy is dropping out of the race.
Kennedy made his support for Trump public in a court filing to remove his name from the ballot in Pennsylvania, one of the states where the numbers showed that his presence on the ballot could tip the scales in the favor of Harris and the Democrats.
That filing followed the Arizona Secretary of State, Adrian Fontes, who posted that: "RFK Jr.’s campaign filed official paperwork with our office today withdrawing him from AZ’s 2024 election."
Kennedy criticized the Democrat party for fighting against his candidacy from the start, and attacked the mainstream media for effectively blacklisting him by not doing any interviews with him.
“In an honest system, I believe I would have won the election," he said.
On Fox, Trump spoke about the possible endorsement, saying, "He is a very good person. If he endorsed me, I would be honored by it. I would be very honored by it. He really has his heart in the right place. He is a respected person," Trump said.
