Bulletproof Trump In NC: First Outdoor Rally Since Assassination Attempt

Another day, and another DNC convention counter-rally for former president Donald Trump, who held his first outdoor rally since the assassination attempt, with a stop in Asheboro, North Carolina.

With thousands in attendance, Trump was surrounded by a wall of bulletproof glass while he spoke at the podium.

Trump was also joined by law enforcement officials, and lots of Secret Service agents. There was also a moment when Trump left the stage because someone in the crowd was having a medical emergency.

Trump, along with VP candidate, Sen. JD Vance hit on national security, while highlighting the Biden-Harris’ record on Ukraine and the botched withdrawal from Afghanistan.

And probably the highlight was when Trump told the crowd he has finally decided on a nickname for Kamala Harris.

"I think her name will be Comrade, because I think that's the most accurate name" Trump said, while pointing out that 'crooked Hillary' went on to stick.

Today was also the day that the bipartisan congressional task force looking into the July 13 shooting, met with the FBI about the agency's investigation into the deadly shooting.
