Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo appeared on the main stage yesterday for the opening day of the DNC in Chicago. It took her just 43 seconds to start lying about the number of hurricanes that have hit Harris County during her time in office.
In her speech, she claimed, "In the years I've been in office, we've dealt with chemical fires, ten floods, seven hurricanes, a deadly winter freeze, and of course the pandemic."
She then went on to praise the Biden-Harris administration for their radical climate policies and commended VP Harris for bringing what she called "vital FEMA assistance." Ironically, this is the same assistance she previously told Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick that Harris County didn't need.
