Joe Biden took the stage as the headline speaker for the opening night of the DNC in Chicago, and it went about as expected. Despite his speech being delayed by a full hour, Biden still struggled to deliver a complete sentence.
When he finally managed to speak, Biden said the quiet part out loud, announcing that he and VP Kamala Harris are "committed to strengthening illegal immigration."
Biden also went on to tout his record on crime, claiming that under his presidency, America has actually gotten safer, despite the fact that violent crime has become a part of everyday life in virtually every major city in the United States.
