Former President Donald Trump is a master at counter-programming. And he did it again today to the DNC as they kick off the convention in Chicago.
"Kamala puts America last, I put America first", Trump said at a rally in York, Pennsylvania, ahead of Joe Biden’s speech at the DNC.
Fittingly, Trump brought up the new House GOP report that found that Joe Biden committed "impeachable conduct" and defrauded the United States of millions to enrich his family.
From there, the former President goes to Michigan on Tuesday to talk about crime and safety, On Wednesday he will be in North Carolina to talk about national security at a joint appearance with his running mate, Ohio Sen. JD Vance.
On Thursday, he'll travel to the U.S.-Mexico border in Arizona to talk about immigration before going Friday to Arizona and Nevada.
"Everyone was better off when you had a gentleman named president Donald J. Trump at the helm" Trump told the crowd.
Each of those states is a battleground; so while the Democrats nominate Kamala Harris, Trump will be in the ground where it’s needed most.
