After beginning deliberations on Friday, the jury found that the parents of the Santa Fe High School shooter, Dimitrios Pagourtzis were not liable in a civil case.
Antonios Pagourtzis and Rose Marie Kosmetatos, were both on trial for the 2018 shooting that left 10 people dead and 13 others injured.
The jury found that Dimitrios Pagourtzis was 80% liable, and Lucky Gunner LLC 20% liable.
As for Dimitrios Pagourtzis, who is now 23, he has been charged with capital murder but the criminal case has been on hold since November of 2019, when he was declared incompeten to stand trial.
Pagourtzis is currently being held at a state mental health facility.
