The Trump campaign says Vice President Kamala Harris is running the "most deceitful campaign in history."
Senior adviser to the Trump campaign Tim Murtaugh told Fox News that Harris is taking after President Joe Biden and hiding from the American people by not making herself available for questions from the media about her vision for the country if she's elected.
"While she hides from the American people like Joe Biden always does, she’s pretending to hold the opposite position on everything she’s ever stood for as a San Francisco liberal," said Murtaugh.
It's been four weeks since Harris has held a formal interview or press conference ever since she became the Democrat's presidential nominee following Biden's bow out. According to a recent poll, 70% of registered Democrats and independents who voted for President Joe Biden in 2020 say they have no clear sense of Harris’s positions.
The Democratic National Convention kicks off Monday in Chicago.
