Despite Democrats' best efforts, Texas still seems to be a stronghold for Republicans, with Collin Allred continuing to trail behind Ted Cruz in the Senate race. Despite this, Beto O'Rourke thinks Kamala Harris and Tim Walz can flip Texas.

O'Rourke joined former White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki on her MSNBC show, where he said, "Anything, I think, is possible this year, and with the energy those two bring to this ticket, I think that Texas could possibly be in play."

Political strategist Bill Miller told KTRH that this is just Democrat wishful thinking. He said, "The Democrats down here want to look like they're in play because they get money from the national Democrats to mount campaigns. If they look like they're a lost cause, they don't get any money."

Miller says that at the end of the day, Democrats would be lucky to even see Texas turn pink, which isn't likely.
