Donald Trump says he has agreed to multiple debates with the networks. The series is pending acceptance from Kamala Harris’ campaign.
Doing something that Kamala Harris refuses to do, Trump held a news conference and took questions from reporters for over an hour at Mar-a-Lago.
The big news of the day: Trump is not only willing to debate Harris, he hopes to do so 3 times. They would take place on the following dates:
September 4th on FOX, September 10th on ABC, and September 25th on NBC. He also said the CBS will air the Vice Presidential debate between JD Vance and Tim Walz. Harris has agreed to only one of the debates, on September 10th
Trump has done multiple interviews and a press conference since Joe Biden withdrew from the race.
Harris has not done an interview or a press conference. She claimed yesterday in a quick session with reporters that she wants to do a one on one interview "before the end of the month."
Trump also said that the U.S. is in "the most dangerous period of time I’ve ever seen for our country." And even stood up for the guy who has tried to put him in jail and take his money, Joe Biden.
"Biden had the right to run for re-election and the Democratic Party took it away from him" Trump said, while blasting Kamala Harris, calling her the "least admired, least respected, and worst vice president in the history of our country."
"I can tell you that he’s not happy with Obama, and he’s not happy with Nancy Pelosi," Trump said. "He’s not happy with any of the people that told him ‘you’ve got to leave.’ He’s very unhappy, very angry."
And finally, Trump said he didn't want to comment on the Hunter Biden scandal, while mixing in some thoughts on Hilary Clinton. "I could have done things to her that would have made your head spin" noted Trump, "I thought it was a very bad thing to take the wife of a president of the United States and put her in jail. And then I see the way that they treat me! That's the way it goes."
