Biden Administration Asks For Trial Delay, The Texas Border Buoys Can Stay

Last week, the U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that Texas can keep the border buoys that Governor Greg Abbott ordered installed in the Rio Grande near Eagle Pass last year.

This week, the case was scheduled to go to trial, in Austin. But the Biden administration requested a delay, at least until November.

"The Biden administration is afraid of giving Texas a win in this case" said Bob Price, associate editor with Breitbart Texas, "Biden said, no hold on, let's just wait until November after the elections."

It's a Texas battle between Governor's Abbott's border buoys vs. the Biden-Harris administration, and for now those border buoys can stay put.

"It's a lot cheaper than building fences and walls" Price told KTRH, "And it stops them on the Mexican side of the river."

It's a strong deterrent, and a strong case, that will likely go Texas' way.

"The Department of Justice is trying to say that these buoys are somehow a hazard to navigation, which is absolutely ridiculous" Price told KTRH, "But the state of Texas is arguing that we have the right under the U.S. Constitution and the Texas Constitution, to defend against an invasion."

And there is still the strong possibility that we could see another massive invasion before November, as illegals try to get in before Biden moves out.
