Wall Street had a day to forget.

The Dow Jones lost more than 1,000 points in trading on Monday. The S&P 500 had its worst day since 2022, and the NASDAQ dropped nearly 4%.

Markets are continuing to struggle amid fears of a global recession. Tech stocks are among the hardest hit after news that Warren Buffet would be selling huge amounts of his shares of Apple stocks.

The bad day of trading began early Monday in Asia. The South Korean market had to put a pause on trading thanks to volatility, and in Japan, the Nikkei took its biggest loss since "Black Monday" in September of 1987.

Donald Trump quickly took to social media, labeling this the "KamalaCrash," a term that is already trending on Elon Musk's X.
