With the 2024 presidential election heating up (thanks to help from the mainstream media), there's been a lot of talk about the issues. But does it even matter at this point?
Many political commentators think not.
"As we head into November, will policy play a role? I highly doubt it" said political commentator, Anthony Russo, "I think the most important thing is the way people feel about each candidate right now, is going to be very hard to change."
It's a cult of personality. And while the majority people end up voting for who they like, there aren't many people who like Kamala Harris.
"It's not even a, "I like her", it's not even "her policies are great", it is a purely an instance of it's somebody that is not Donald Trump", Russo told KTRH.
Which is what we are seeing in full force from the mainstream media.
"Ultimately, people aren't going to all of sudden magically to start like Kamala" noted Russo, "I think we're seeing the media machine has done a very good job for Kamala to make her seem half-way likeable, which is the only reason why to me, there is still a race."
The reality is, this is an election of those who like Donald Trump vs. those who do not.
