Remember all of those calls from Joe Biden and the left to "turn down the temperature" following the assassination attempt of former president Donald Trump?
That lasted for maybe 3 hours, before things went back to normal. The left can't help themselves.
"I'm pretty sure everybody was hoping there would be some unity" said Jeff Charles, writer at Red State and host of 'A Fresh Perspective' podcast. "But, realistically, when you're looking at members of the chattering class people aren't really invested in unity. Unity doesn't really sell right now, division does."
Sadly, nothing has changed. And it's not surprising.
"We have become so polarized and divided in this nation, I'm not sure that there's anything bad that can happen that would cause is to unite like we did after 9/11" Charles told KTRH, "It's just the state of things right now."
Not even an assassination attempt. Charles says things are likely going to get worse, before they get better."
