Fox News host Jesse Watters sat down with both former President Donald Trump and his running mate, Ohio Senator JD Vance. In the interview, Trump said that the Secret Service never informed him of any danger.

When Watters asked if anyone told Trump not to take the stage, Trump said, "No, nobody mentioned it. No one said there was a problem. I would have waited for 15 minutes." He continued, "Nobody said anything, I think that was a mistake."

Trump pointed out that his supporters at the rally had noticed the shooter on the roof as early as 20 minutes before he took the stage. We now know that the Secret Service had identified the shooter as a person of interest an hour before the rally was set to begin.

The full interview with former President Trump and Senator Vance will premiere Monday night on the Fox News channel.
