America isn't the only country with contentious elections this year. Right-wing European parties are facing setbacks after elections in both France and the UK.
The French election saw both leftists and moderates uniting against the right-wing National Rally party. Fox News Radio's Jonathan Savage told KTRH, "The rest of the parties in France ganged up on the National Rally. Some parties withdrew their candidates, others held their noses, and voted for centrist or left-wing candidates that they wouldn't have otherwise voted for."
Savage says that in the UK, the right-wing party that has been leading the British government for 14 years fell out of power due to their weak actions on illegal immigration. He said, "You can't keep saying for 14 years that you're gonna bring down immigration, and then every year it goes up for 14 years, and expect people not to notice."
Savage says the real message here is if you talk the anti-illegal immigration game, you have to be willing to play it too.
