Despite their talk about safe and secure elections, Democrats continue to block measures that would ensure only citizens vote in the 2024 presidential race. Republicans have passed the SAVE Act through the House, which would prevent illegal aliens from registering to vote, but Biden has already vowed to veto the bill.
Brianna Lyman with The Federalist told KTRH, "Our free and fair elections hinge on people, including illegal immigrants who broke the law, deciding to be honest for maybe the first time since entering the country."
Lyman says this means our elections are essentially being run on the honor system, and that's going to lead to bigger issues. She said, "When you have elections that are insecure, that raises doubts among Americans. And even if you only have one illegal vote being cast by non-citizens, that is one too many."
Lyman said that if Democrats actually supported safe and fair elections like they claim to, they really shouldn't have any issues with this legislation.
