The search for the missing 12-year-old Fulshear girl with autism has come to a tragic end. Early this morning, authorities confirmed that the girl had been found in a lake near her home, having accidentally drowned.
Aisha Adebayo had last been seen on a house camera Wednesday night walking away from her home. Following her disappearance, a massive search effort involving law enforcement and community members took place.
At 5:45 am this morning, Fulshear authorities confirmed Aisha had been found deceased on social media saying, “It is with great sadness that we provide an update on the search for Aisha Adebayo. She was found and tragically had accidentally drowned in a nearby lake by her home. Our hearts are heavy with grief for Aisha and her family. We deeply appreciate everyone who helped in the search and shared the information. Please keep Aisha’s family in your thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time.”
