As Trump gains in the polls, the left is continuing to dial in on the one issue that they think can win them the November presidential election: abortion. It seems to be all they have to run on, and it probably won't be enough.
Political consultant Vlad Davidiuk told KTRH, "It's not an issue that really resonates as strongly with most people, certainly not with the Supreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade." Davidiuk said most people can, and have already, voted with their feet on the issue.
Davidiuk doesn't think abortion will win Democrats any new voters because, "the number of people who will vote solely based on abortion is limited exclusively to those voters who have already decided that they're going to vote for the Democrat."
Davidiuk says most voters in this election cycle are more concerned with things like rising costs and the border crisis than they are with abortion.
