The Supreme Court has rules against a challenge to the Biden Administrations efforts to coordinate with social media platforms. SCOTUS says that the states that sued lacked standing for the case.
Justice Amy Coney Barrett wrote the majority opinion, saying, "The plaintiffs, without any concrete link between their injuries and the defendants’ conduct, ask us to conduct a review of the years-long communications between dozens of federal officials, across different agencies, with different social-media platforms, about different topics."
The vote was 6-3, Alito, Thomas, and Gorsuch dissented. The case has been remanded back down to lower courts for further proceedings.
