Yesterday, Texas Senator Ted Cruz, along with Jocelyn Nungaray's mother and grandfather, joined KTRH's Sean Hannity on Fox News. They spoke out about the border crisis and its impact on innocent lives.
Alexis Nungaray, Jocelyn's mother, told Hannity, "It's been something that's been hard to grasp... But now I have to be her voice, and I have to make sure that everybody hears the horrible thing that happened to my daughter and give her justice, and make a change. Because we don't need to be burying our kids."
Jocelyn's grandfather, Kelvin Alvarenga, described her as "a fighter." He also said that she was very loved everywhere she went. He remarked, "She was amazing, you know, she was starting to become a teenager, and that was taken from us."
