Most of us thought it would never happen, but tonight Donald Trump and Joe Biden will face off in the first presidential debate in Atlanta. It will be the first time that the two will take the stage together since 2020.
"Fights always come down to style, right?" said Joe Concha with FOX News, "You'll have Joe Biden who has literally been prepping for this debate with 16 people, on the other hand Donald Trump will be speaking extemporaneously off the cuff."
This time around, there will be no prompters, no notes, and no help from staff members. But, the debate will be carried by CNN, and hosted by anti-Trumper's Jake Tapper and Dana Bash.
"They know they're going to get eviscerated by everybody in the industry for not taking down Trump" Concha told KTRH, "These again are not activists, they're hacktivists and they're not journalists. They'll make sure that the scales are tipped towards Joe Biden because that favors Biden, and that's who CNN is."
And they will also have a 'mic mute' button, and just like in 2016 with Hilary Clinton, Joe Biden should have all of the questions in advance.
"It's going to be the biggest moment of this campaign" noted Concha, "It's a big night for both of them but I think really the pressure's on Biden, because if he does not do well here then Democrats are gonna start shopping for another candidate."
Live coverage of the first presidential debate begins at 8pm, on News Radio 740 KTRH.
