Biden loves to brag about how much he's kept the debt in check, but a new report from the Congressional Budget Office reveals that the national deficit is still nearly $2 trillion. Biden, however, keeps touting himself as a deficit slasher, and he doesn't seem to see any problem with the deficit now.
Economist EJ Antoni spoke to KTRH on the issue, saying, "This is exactly why we've added over $7 trillion to the debt. It's because they have institutionalized multi-trillion dollar deficits."
Antoni says we have already reached unsustainable spending levels, and it's only getting worse. He said, "We are already spending more than we can possibly take in. So we are certainly past that 'doomsday point,' if you will."
He also said that given the ever-increasing debt and spending, we shouldn't be at all surprised that inflation is also skyrocketing across the board.
