One week ago today, 12-year-old Jocelyn Nungaray was found murdered in a north Houston creek, and on Thursday, she will be laid to rest. The funeral will be from 1-3 pm at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery on North Fwy. The service is open to the public.
Mattress Mack will cover the funeral costs and host a celebration of life after the service at Gallery Furniture, also on North Fwy.
A candlelight vigil was also held on Friday night, where Jocelyn's mother spoke. She said, "I was looking forward to seeing how beautiful she was gonna grow up to be. I know God is real, I know God is good, and [whoever killed her] will feel God’s wrath.”
One of the two illegal aliens accused of killing Jocelyn Nungary appeared in court today for the first time. He was labeled a "flight risk" and had his bond set at $10,000,000.00
