In yet, another new poll, this one from the PEW Research Center, a quarter of Americans (25%) hold unfavorable views of both Joe Biden, and former president Donald Trump.
That polling category is called the 'double haters' group, and is currently at a historic high spanning the last 10 elections.
"There is a lot of animosity towards both candidates, and I don't think Donald Trump should be as concerned as Joe Biden should" said Brianna Lyman, elections correspondent at The Federalist, "During the 2016 election, there was the same hostility towards Donald Trump and people were very unenthusiastic about both candidates."
But Trump ended up winning, and has a very similar feel heading into November. Plus, this is a unique election in that voters can truly compare and contrast each candidates performance head to head.
"Even if they hate the way Donald Trump speaks, they can objectively see that the economy was better, and our national security was better under Donald Trump than Biden" Lyman told KTRH, "They feel like they've been screwed under both instances. They like Donald Trump a little better."
In case you're wondering, the 2nd highest number for a 'dread election' was 20% back in 2016, when Trump defeated Hilary Clinton.
