There's a good reason for the border crisis. Illegal aliens have massive incentives to cross the border illegally thanks to handout programs from various states, cities, and the Biden Administration itself. Illegal aliens can now live like kings thanks to these freebie handouts.
Ammon Blair with the Texas Public Policy Foundation told KTRH, "Every benefit that a citizen could have in terms of how they live, or their livelihoods, is given, and prioritized, to illegal aliens."
Blair says that at the end of the day, we taxpayers are the ones who foot the bill for all of these freebies. He said, "Taxpayer dollars go into our federal agencies, and then those federal agencies work with non-profits. That's where it's coming from, your pocketbook."
Blair says that as long as we incentivize illegal immigration like this, it will be impossible to close the border.
