The prosecution has rested their case in Hunter Biden's Delaware gun trial. The defense has responded by making a oral motion for acquittal. The details of their motion are expect to come in a written filing later today.
During their prosecution of Hunter, the federal government revealed that Hunter's Laptop which was discovered near the end of the 2020 election, was in fact legitimate.
Since the discovery of Hunter Biden's laptop, which contained photos and videos of Hunter committing various crimes, as well as emails hinting at an influence peddling scheme between him and his father, the Biden campaign and their allies in the mainstream media have pushed the idea that the laptop was part of a Russian disinformation operation.
Dozens of former intelligence officials, as well as the Biden family, have claimed for years that the laptop is a forgery. That narrative was destroyed when the federal government submitted the laptop as evidence in Hunter Biden's gun trial, essentially confirming the laptop's legitimacy.
Prosecutor Derek Hines introduced the laptop, handing it to FBI agent Erika Jensen, who detailed how the FBI confirmed the authenticity of the laptop and then extracted data from it. She also testified about text messages, photos, and videos that were found on iCloud accounts that belonged to Hunter Biden.
President Joe Biden gave an interview to ABC's David Muir at the Normandy American Cemetery yesterday, where he said that he will not pardon Hunter if he's convicted in the gun trial.
