The jury in the Donald Trump Manhattan trial will continue deliberations on Thursday after failing to reach a verdict Wednesday.

The jury deliberated for about four hours after getting instructions from Judge Juan Merchan. They also sent two notes to the judge before ending the day.

One of those notes requested testimony from David Pecker and Michael Cohen to be read back to them.

Pecker is the former publisher of the National Enquirer who has admitted to catch and kill stories with Trump and many other celebrities. That in and of itself is not against the law.

The jury also requested to have testimony read back to them from Trump’s former lawyer, Michael Cohen.

Under oath, Cohen admitted that he stole tens of thousands of dollars from the Trump Organization.

The former CEO of that company, Allen Weisselberg, was not called to testify in this case.

Deliberations will resume at 8:30am Houston time.
