Trump Calls It A "Day Of Infamy" After Michael Cohen Takes The Stand

Day 16 of the show trial for former president Donald Trump featured the prosecution's star witness, but the only spark was after court was adjourned and Trump went off again.

After speaking to a crowd of nearly 100,000 people in Wildwood, NJ over the weekend, Trump said it was a "day of infamy", while adding that "the world is laughing".

Still under a gag order from Joe Biden donor, judge Juan Merchan, Trump still blasted the criminal trial against him, while reminding everyone that the "weaponized" legal attack against him is election interference.

"This day is truly going to go down as a day of infamy for the New York legal system, which is through the whole world is laughing now at the New York weaponized legal system watching this unfold of that courtroom as a lawyer is really deeply disturbing," Trump said before leaving the courthouse. "We have a corrupt judge and we have a judge who is highly conflicted, and he's keeping me from campaigning."

The trial is set to resume tomorrow with more testimony from Cohen, who has yet to be cross-examined by Trump's legal team.
