Republicans have long relied on the Electoral College to secure victory in elections, but it might be time for us to change that strategy for a new one. We now have a rare opportunity to win the popular vote as well, and we have good reason to want to take it.
Robert Romano with The Daily Torch told KTRH that a popular vote victory could be the key to a strong Republican House and Senate majority. He said, "Winning the popular vote actually can generate tremendous coattails for the party that wins the White House."
According to Romano, Trump is actually doing well in that arena right now. He says, "Trump's actually ahead right now. And if there's an opportunity, what you do is you have to campaign in blue states. You might not win New York in the Electoral College, but there's a bunch of house seats that you can compete for."
Romano says those small victories in House districts could make a huge difference for Trump in 2024.
