The rioting charges against 211 illegal aliens who stormed the Texas border on March 21st have been dropped by Judge Ruben Morales. At a hearing on Wednesday, Judge Morales claimed that he did not have the proper jurisdiction, and there was nothing he could do in the case.
Judge Morales says that proper procedures weren't followed when jurisdiction over the case was transferred to his court. El Paso County District Attorney Bill Hicks disagrees and says his office fully intends to appeal the decision.
Hicks said in a press conference, "We argued that it was appropriate and proper, and we feel that very strongly, and we feel that … it was done appropriately and that his order is an improper order." He said, "We have intentions of appealing his order to the Court of Appeals."
Hicks says that once these illegal aliens are released, they'll be turned over to Joe Biden's Customs and Border Patrol. Hicks said, "Some may qualify for asylum, some may not. Some may be deported, some may not."
