Flood Update: Rivers Still Rising, Some Schools Reopen

Here is the latest on the floods that have impacted areas north of Houston:

• Schools are re-opening today in the Channelview and Dayton ISD's
• Schools are still closed in the Liberty and Hardin ISD's, as well as the West Hardin County CISD.
• Governor Greg Abbott toured flood damage in Conroe yesterday.
• Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo lifted mandatory evacuation orders for some residents along the Trinity River.
• The Trinity, San Jacinto, and Navasota Rivers levels are expected to rise for another day or two.
