Israel has begun conducting what it describes as "targeted strikes" against Hamas operatives in eastern Rafah, a city located in the southern Gaza Strip where more than 1 million civilians from other parts of Gaza are sheltering.

This came just hours after the terrorist group announced it will accept a ceasefire deal brokered by Eqypt and Qatar.
That announcement by Hamas came down after the IDF warned residents in Rafah to evacuate ahead of the long talked about offensive designed to take out the last Hamas battalions.

Israel is refuting this, calling the deal Hamas claims to have taken “unacceptable.”

If there is a ceasefire, it will at least pause the fighting between the Israelis and Hamas fighters that has been going on since the October 7th attacks.

Hamas still holds more than 100 Israelis hostage, some of whom are also Americans.
