Due to the recent rain and high water, election officials in Liberty County have extended today's May 4 th Special Election voting hours until 8pm.
Three polling locations are closed:
Plum Grove City Hall, Tarkington Prairie Baptist Church and the Santa Fe Administration Building (Colony Ridge).
County Clerk Lee Haidusek says all three polling locations are on roads that have been impacted by the storms.
