This is not the kind of jobs report the White House was hoping for, as the economy continues to go south.
In April, the economy added just 175,000 jobs; well below the expectation of 243,000. The unemployment rate ticked up to 3.9%. Former President Trump, speaking fore testimony resumed in his hush money trial in Manhattan said that Bidenomics has failed.
"The number is really really low, really bad. Our economy is bad, and now it is starting to show. It'll only get worse," trump stated.
The labor participation rate was 62.7%. The numbers from March were revised upward, from 303,000 to 315,000 jobs.
