Storms have rolled through the greater Houston area throughout the night and early morning, resulting in heavy rains and even tornado's in certain areas. As a result, the following school districts have announced closures for the day.
- Madisonville CISD
- Groveton ISD
- Trinity ISD
As well as those schools being closed, Shepherd ISD has announced a one hour delay, and Corrigan-Camden ISD start times and bus routes will be delayed two hours.
