The Israeli Consul General in Houston has condemned Iran’s attack on Israel.
Consul General Livia Linkraviv called the assault a blunt violation of the United Nations charter of international law.
Texas Senator Ted Cruz, who sits on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, said “there is no doubt Iran has made a huge mistake in attacking America’s closest ally in the Middle East,” concluding “Israel will emerge from this crisis stronger.”
Israel says Iran launched more than 300 drones and ballistic and cruise missiles early Sunday morning, pushing the region closer to outright war. 99% of the launches were intercepted.
A 7 year old Bedouin Arab girl was seriously injured in southern Israel.
This is the first time Iran was attacked Israel since 1979.
The United Nations quickly issued a condemnation.
