The Houston Public Library says the Eleanor Freed-Montrose branch is reopening just two-weeks after it closed.
The library system shut down the location over safety concerns because of its deteriorating building.
The city was expected to build a new nearby location for the library, but it will reopen at the same place, on Montrose Boulevard at Colquitt Street.
City officials will attend a reopening celebration at 10 a.m. on Monday.
