Despite predictions from top economists, and yet another bad Biden CPI report, the Fed continues to say there will be multiple interest rate cuts this year.
The Fed also claims this has nothing to do with the November election.
"There's no doubts they're in cahoots with the Fed" laughed political commentator, Anthony Russo, "That's not even a question. They will work with them on any level they need to maintain the power that they have over the American people."
And that includes Fed Chair, Jerome Powell, who has some extra motivation, to help make sure Joe Biden remains in office.
"He's somebody that wants Biden to stay in power" Russo told KTRH, "Although he was put in power by Donald Trump, he knows that Donald Trump has said he wants him out in 2026. That doesn't happen if there's another Biden presidency."
With all of that said, inflation is still too high, and the bad CPI numbers mean that the soonest we could see any rate cuts will be in September.
