Abortion has been a hotly debated issue since the Supreme Court struck down the Roe v. Wade decision in 2022. That decision put abortion back on the ballot across the country, and now Donald Trump is making his position clear to voters in 2024.
In a video posted to his social media platform Truth Social, Trump stated that, 'We want to make it easier for mothers and families to have babies, not harder.' He followed that by stating his support for IVF and applauded the Alabama legislature for passing laws that protected IVF.
When it comes to abortion itself, former President Trump says states should now decide the issue. He said voters should, "You must follow your heart, or in many cases, your religion and your faith... do what's right and vote."
Trump said whatever states decide on the issue should be the law of the land in that state. Trump ended his announcement by encouraging all Americans to work together to reverse American decline.
