With Joe Biden trailing former president Donald Trump in all of the polls, and without any legislative victories to run on, the Washington Post reported that the Biden administration is now planning to hold off on making their big Title IX ruling until after the November election.
"Because the issue polls so abysmally for the president and for Democrats, recognizing that that will very likely be a killer for him at the polls in November" said Sarah Parshall Perry, senior legal fellow for the Heritage Foundation.
It's beyond a killer, with most American voters (including Democrats) against transgenders competing in women's sports.
"70% of American voters want sports separated by sex, as it always has been, for principles of fairness and equality" Perry told KTRH, "I think the president understands, particularly in an election year that this is an opportunity to back off what has been a full-throated endorsement of trans participation in women's sports."
Former president Donald Trump has vowed to ban trans women, if he's re-elected.
It's worth noting, Texas is one of 25 states that has already banned trans participation.
