The Francis Scott Key Bridge in Maryland collapsed into the Baltimore harbor early this morning following a "ship strike," Maryland transportation officials said.
We know that two people have been rescued, and that rescuers are looking for at least seven other people who went into the water. Officials say this was a tragic accident and not a terrorist incident
A livestream of the bridge appeared to show a cargo ship colliding with a support beam, causing the bridge to break and fall into the Patapsco River. Multiple vehicles were on the bridge at the time. You can see the video below.
