One of the bus companies employed by the state of Texas to transport illegals into the sanctuary city of New York has paused their route amidst a lawsuit from New York City. Roadrunner Charters agreed to pause their participation in Governor Abbott's program while the lawsuit played out. They are just one of 17 different charter bus companies affected by the suit.
Jessica Vaughan with the Center for Immigration Studies says despite this, she doesn't see Abbott's operation slowing down. She told KTRH, "There are lots of other sanctuary jurisdictions that they can bus these migrants to. For example, Chicago, Philadelphia, Denver, Massachusetts." She thinks Oregon and Washington State may also start receiving illegals from Texas soon.
Vaughan also says that this operation has been incredibly successful and may lead to sanctuary jurisdictions changing course and doing away with sanctuary policies.
