Today was supposed to be the start of former president Donald Trump's hush money case in New York, but that case has been delayed until later next month.
With less than 8 months to go until November, it's one day at a time one trial at a time for Trump, who seems to be handling it pretty well so far.
"Trump will be able to do two things with the trials" said FOX News columnist David Marcus, "He will be able to show that he has the energy to both be on trial and campaign, but he's also going to be able to use it to say what he always says, which is that their not going after him, they're going after us, he's just in the way."
And what about being able to campaign while being tied up in court? Trump seems to be handling that as well.
"I think Trump will be able to campaign enough" Marcus told KTRH, "I'm quite certain that we'll see situations where he's in court in the morning or afternoon, and then on a plane and doing a rally that night."
Either way, most Americans can now see what is really going on.
"It does look like these prosecutor's are trying to put their thumb on the scale" noted Marcus, "Letitia James in New York ran for Attorney General promising to go after Donald Trump. That's not the way it's supposed to work, and the American voters know that."
One day at a time, one case at a time.
