Nathan Wade Steps Down From Trump Georgia Case

As expected, Special Prosecutor Nathan Wade who had a relationship with D.A. Fani Willis has resigned from the case.

Earlier this morning, Judge Scott McAfee (who donated to Willis' campaign) ruled that either Fani Willis goes or Wade goes. They went with Wade.

"I am offering my resignation in the interest of democracy, in dedication to the American public, and move this case forward as quickly as possible.”

D.A. Fani Willis is expected to address the media. In the meantime, Willis accepted Wade's resignation, despite they're years long affair and relationship.

“I will always remember − and will remind everyone − that you were brave enough to step forward and take on the investigation and prosecution of the allegations that the defendants in this case engaged in a conspiracy to overturn Georgia's 2020 Presidential Election," Willis wrote.

This is a developing story.
