Judge Scott McAfee has issued his ruling on whether embattled D.A. Fani Willis can continue in her case against former President Donald Trump. Willis has been accused of using the case as an opportunity to funnel money to her lover, Nathan Wade, whom she appointed to be the special prosecutor in her case against former President Trump.

Judge McAfee's ruling states that Willis must either step aside from the case against Trump or fire Nathan Wade. Both Wade and Willis have maintained that at no point did they do anything improper, but witness testimony over the last few weeks has indicated that their conduct was questionable at best.

It is not immediately known whether Willis will step aside herself or fire Nathan Wade.
