The mother the man wanted in connection to the fatal shooting of a 12-year-old in the Cloverleaf area was arrested.
Alva Cornejo is the mother of Terry Bryan Rivera. She was charged with hindering apprehension or prosecution.
Rivera is still on the run and wanted for the capital murder of the 12-year-old in a shooting that took place last week.
Carlos Fernandez will be laid to rest on Monday.
