It’s Spring Break

Where to go and what to do when you don’t have much money. Fortunately, Texas offers plenty of options to consider.

“San Antonio, the Zoo, the River walk, the Hill County, Port Aransas, Austin, those are the places near Houston where we see a lot of people travel on spring break,” says AAA Texas travel expert Daniel Armbruster.

It’s always a good time to go see how Blue Bell makes ice cream at the factory in Brenham.

A good time for a trip back 113 million years to when dinosaurs were leaving their tracks along the Paluxy River at Dinosaur Valley State Park.

Spend time at a working dude ranch like the Fling L Ranch Resort, or maybe throw on a Hawaiian shirt and head off for Margaritaville.

“I certainly love to go to the hill county. It’s beautiful. I love Enchanted Rock, I’ve climbed it several times and just being at the top and looking out at the Hill Country is just something majestic and beautiful,” adds Armbruster.
