The University Of Houston Adds A Pro Abortion Statue To Campus

The University of Houston Chancellors said it wasn't coming. But then they put it up two weeks early.

The shock and outrage continues, over the 18-foot tall, satanic pro-abortion statue that is now up at UH.

"We're particularly concerned that this statue that is placed at the University of Houston is clearly, by the intent of the sculptor, a celebration essentially of death" said Dave Welch, president of the Texas Pastors Council.

The satanic idol was also made as an honor to the late pro-abortion Supreme Court Justice, Ruth Bader-Ginsberg.

"It's really a celebration of abortion using satanic images, based on what we've heard from the artist herself" said Dr. John Seago, president of Texas Right to Life.

Like Dave Welch, Dr. Seago confirmed that UH officials gave their word that the statue would not be going up. That is now obviously not the case.

"Once this was originally announced several months ago, the university claimed that it was not actually coming" Dr. Seago told KTRH, "Now the statue is up on campus, unfortunately. They did cancel some celebration events, and a speech from the artist."

There have already been multiple prayer vigils, with another scheduled on campus for Wednesday night at 5pm.

If you concerned, or want to get involved, you can contact the UH Board of Regents at (832) 842-3444, or send an email to mjglenn@central.uh.edu.

As pointed out on Texas Scorecard, it is Texas Governor Greg Abbott who appoints the UH Board of Regents, who are then confirmed by the Texas Senate.
