Tuesday, February 27th is the first day of the 2024 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. It runs through March 17th at NRG Park.
Danielle Grossman - Director of Strategic Communications for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo pointed out a few of the many highlights of this year's rodeo.
They are bringing back the Drone Show - but this year it is doubled in size. This year's show utilizes 400 Drones in the skies over NRG Park - at 8PM every Saturday and Sunday during the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. In addition, there will be fireworks as well.
Also new this year - they are rolling out a newly updated App for the rodeo - with all sorts of features to enhance your Rodeo Houston experience.
And of course, there are also plenty of new foods this year. New vendors include Big Fat Bacon, MiaBella's Wood Fired Pizza, and Waffle Chix.
Also new this year - Rodeo Houston inducts its inaugural class of Rodeo Houston Hall of Fame members. Mike Cervi, Charmayne James and Bob Tallman will be honored during the finals on Sunday March 17, 2024.
